Here at The Aesthetic Union, we care about your special project as much as you do. We work collaboratively to understand your goals, give creative direction and support your unique vision every step of the way. Supply your own files and we can print your masterpiece to perfection. If you’re inspired but need help developing the concept, we offer a variety of personalized solutions from hand-drawn illustrations to full service branding and identity (letterhead, business cards, packaging, etc). We’ll plan the best process, helping you choose the right paper stock, custom ink colors and finishing options to bring your project to life. We even have a menu of a la carte services like foil stamping, edge painting and custom die cutting that can be added to any order.

Once we receive an okay for your estimate, a 50% deposit will need to be acquired before a job is put into production. Once the deposit and artwork are received, the job will be printed. Be sure to review our file guidelines when prepping your files to ensure proper formatting and avoid any hold ups in production. Be sure to attach your project artwork in your estimate submission so we can get an accurate estimate written up for you.


We print all of our letterpress jobs by hand on a vintage 1952 Heidelberg Cylinder, a 1974 Heidelberg Windmill, and a 1910 Chandler & Price. The Cylinder can print up to 15" x 20", while the Windmill and the C&P can print up to a 9" x 12" image on up to a 10" x 15" sheet. By choosing letterpress printing you are choosing an art form. We use the highest quality materials available and are committed to maintaining the high standards that this art form deserves. The striking appeal of letterpress printing includes the nuance of natural paper fibers, hand mixed inks, and a human touch. Our products are created by hand using century-old machinery and minor variations in the final product are due to this unique process.

Pricing is based on many factors like quantity, paper type, ink count and can include more elaborate finishing options like edge painting or a custom die cut. So we may gain a better understanding of your project specifications, please fill out the form above and upload artwork files if applicable. We'll review the details and contact you with an estimate within 48 hours. To ensure proper formatting and avoid delays please be sure to review our file guidelines when preparing your files.


Once the estimate has been approved, a 50% deposit is collected along with print-ready artwork. Materials are ordered, custom plates are created and the job is scheduled on press. (For projects requiring in-house design work, there will be additional lead-time before production). We’ll coordinate a time for you to press check a physical proof of your project, either in person or via email. Once the proof is approved, the job will go to print. Standard turnaround time is 2-3 weeks but may increase based on customization. The remainder of the balance is due upon completion.

We’re obsessed with the details and we quality check, trim, and count each and every job by hand before it goes out the door. Orders are available for pick up at the shop and we offer local, national, and international shipping. If you’re lucky, you might even get a personal bicycle delivery!


We provide individual design support from concept to final client approval. We choose the best paper stock, process, and custom colors to bring your project to life. Once the final materials are ordered and your custom plates are created, we’ll schedule a time for you to press check a physical proof of your project, either in person or via email.


Our printing process begins with setting up the press, including plate registration, color correction, and custom adjustments. We will then print one test proof to be approved at your scheduled press check. Once you sign off on the test proof, your project goes to press.We quality check, trim, and count your final product before packaging it for pick up, delivery, or shipping. The Aesthetic Union offers a suite of custom design and letterpress services for brand identity and business marketing. We use bespoke typeface and the highest quality materials to bring the elegance and expression of letterpress to your brand. Talk to us about creating custom letterhead, business cards, packaging, product hang tags, product use and care cards, calendars, corporate marketing packages and informational booklets. We also specialize in hand illustrated logos, marks, and crests to set your business apart. 


We offer additional services including design, edge painting, custom die cutting, duplexing, and foil stamping.

Again: We collect a 50% deposit after your initial consultation and collect the remainder of the balance once your project goes to print. Our turnaround time is generally two to three weeks. All custom projects are unique. We suggest you begin with a custom estimate.
