Book time on press

Have a few ideas you’d like to bring to life? You can now book time at The Aesthetic Union and print your own projects! Rates start at $25 per hour which includes ink and full access to one of our presses. One of our expert printers will be on-site to help you get situated and answer any questions. Follow the steps below to book time on a press and start creating:

1. Get certified! Take a “how to” letterpress workshop with us, or an affiliated studio or press center (like San Francisco Center for the Book).

2. Book a time with the specific press you would like to use. The beginner classes are for the Vandercook, advanced are for the Heidelberg Windmill.

3. If you’d like, you can order paper and printing plates from us ahead of your press rental and they will be ready for you on arrival!
