Bookplates have been around since The Middle Ages. They began as functional items produced by stationery salesmen, later evolving into highly stylized labels created by artists. This transition led to the rise in affordability & popularization of the bookplate.

This bookplate design was adapted from a 1920s book cover by the Dutch artist Julie De Graag. Letterpress printed by hand here at The Aesthetic Union.

Pack of 5. Comes in blue, green, and pink
